The Rzhev plant "PRAMO-Electro" (part of the "ELTRA" Management Company, a well-known manufacturer of auto components and electrical equipment for gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines) has mastered the production of generators for "KamAZ" engines. This allows the company to offer a full range of generators and starters for all modern "KamAZ" engines.
Generators are supplied both to the KamAZ assembly line and to the spare parts market. They are designed for import-substituted versions of Cummins engines.
The plant operates on a full production cycle (aluminum casting, plastic casting, electroplating and mechanical assembly shops). Plastic casting is carried out on seven modern injection molding machines, which allows manufacturing parts from various types of plastic. Non-ferrous metal casting, stamping and heat treatment are performed on robotic complexes with a pressing force of 280 to 480 tons. This ensures the production of up to 40 tons of castings per month.
The mechanical processing workshop is equipped with 35 modern CNC machines, where more than 100 different parts are made of aluminum, brass, steel and other metals. The mechanical assembly shop is equipped with high-tech equipment, which allows producing up to 29 thousand generators and 10 thousand starters per month.
The plant not only produces, but also develops new products for motor vehicles, such as generators, starters and thermostats, and also modernizes them. In addition, the company has its own accredited research laboratory, equipped with modern equipment for conducting climatic, resource and periodic tests of finished products.
Earlier, the Industrial Development Fund of the Tver Region provided the company with a preferential loan of 50 million rubles under the "Import Substitution" program, which allowed expanding the range of generators produced, establishing the production of air filter clogging sensors and improving the laboratory.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that KamAZwill start producing industrial engines 8801.10 "Progress".
