In June 2025, the Kazan Aviation Plant restored another Tu-214 aircraft with tail number RA-64549. The 2008 aircraft was sent for painting and further transfer to the Russian airline Red Wings.
From the end of 2008 to 2015, the aircraft operated for Transaero, and then was put into storage in Kazan. The machine should last for many more years.
In June, RA-64549 was flown to Ulyanovsk for painting while still in the Transaero livery.
Now the aircraft will receive the corporate livery of the United Aircraft Corporation and will operate on Red Wings routes, where they decided to increase their fleet of Russian Tu-204/Tu-214 aircraft.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Irkutsk Aviation Plant has radically updated the electrical systems of the Yak-130M.
