Ангары для истребителей Су-57 начали строить на аэродроме в Астраханской области

Judging by the footage, the work is progressing quite briskly

Footage of the construction of protective hangars at the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region has appeared online. The photographs were published by the Telegram channel "Military Informant." Judging by the images, the process is progressing quite briskly.

A year ago, this airbase was attacked by drones, as a result of which a Su-57 fighter was damaged, for which there were no hangars at that time.

Military expert, reserve officer and combat veteran Oleg Shalandin explained that no one makes shelters for aircraft of the nuclear triad at airfields, because combat aircraft are constantly moving.

In this regard, there is no point in creating separate hangars for them, bringing all this equipment into them and then taking it out again, preparing it for flights. All this, according to Shalandin, is just a waste of already valuable time.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the first footage of the flight of the latest Geran-2 at a great height has appeared.
