At Yakutia Airlines, aviation technicians independently repaired an SSJ-100 aircraft for the first time. This was reported by the VestiSakha TV channel.
The work with the SSJ-100 was carried out in its hangar, designed for three aircraft, as Yakutia Airlines received a certificate from the Yakovlev Design Bureau manufacturer.
The aircraft was undergoing routine maintenance after 7,500 flight hours, which was carried out entirely by the airline and specially trained personnel for the first time.
Yakutia noted that this approach greatly reduces the cost of repairs and moves the airline forward in terms of maintenance.
As part of the repair work, maintenance of engines, fuselage, chassis, control system and other on-board systems and aircraft units was carried out over four months.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft completed half of the certification program.
