In the Orenburg region, the "OrenClip" group of companies has opened a new enterprise for the production of robotic equipment for the meat processing industry. The production is located in the "Orenburzhye" special economic zone and includes the production of sausage positioners and high-speed thermoformers, which have no domestic analogues.
The equipment is equipped with "Extremum" industrial delta robots of Russian production and is controlled by proprietary software. Investments in the project amounted to more than 250 million rubles, including funding from the Industrial Development Fund (137 million rubles) and VTB Bank (80 million rubles). According to the company, up to 90% of Russian meat processing enterprises use imported equipment, and the new plant is designed to reduce this dependence.
Prior to the introduction of EU sanctions on the supply of equipment for meat processing to Russia, the main suppliers of positioners were European manufacturers Drake, Velec, Singer&Sohn. In the development of equipment, the "OrenClip" group focused on the most successful practices in the industry – positioning with a slide using a system of conveyors and belts. Our engineers have developed an original separation and capture system, and programmers have created special software to control all the equipment we produce. Thanks to the Industrial Development Fund, it was possible to equip the new enterprise with modern equipment in a short time and launch the products into series production.
The RUS 600 positioner is capable of processing up to 600 sausages per minute, adapting to different product sizes (diameter from 14 to 32 mm, length from 80 to 220 mm). In the standard configuration, one delta robot is used, but according to individual orders, productivity can be increased through additional modules.
The company also produces TF 245 thermoformers – automatic vacuum machines for packaging in trays at a speed of 6–8 cycles per minute. The level of equipment localization reaches 82%, which corresponds to the import substitution strategy in the food industry. Among the first customers are large manufacturers such as "Abi", "Damate", "Strogonov", and in the future – "Miratorg", "Cherkizovo" and "Ostankino". According to "OrenClip", the new plant will be able to occupy up to 28% of the Russian market for such equipment.
The Industrial Development Fund (IDF) actively finances import substitution projects in food engineering. To date, 19 projects have been supported with a total loan volume of 3.4 billion rubles, and total investments in them have exceeded 6.6 billion rubles. Of these, 14 projects have already been implemented, including the new "OZAR" plant in the Orenburg region.
