The production of the Tu-214 aircraft at the Kazan Aviation Plant (part of PJSC Tupolev) has stalled due to financial problems. This point of view was voiced by the former director of the Ulyanovsk branch of Tupolev, Stanislav Ryzhakov.
No one is planning to allocate money for the Tu-214, because everything was spent on the MS-21 and SJ-100. Promised? They promised a lot of things. I think they give the smallest amount.
A source at Business Online cited the lack of due attention to the workshops of procurement and mechanical production as another problem. There are no components in the warehouses, and for rhythmic work it is necessary that there are at least two aircraft sets of parts.
On the Internet you can find old photos of our old final assembly shop: aircraft like herring in a barrel. Maybe we should remember how our fathers and grandfathers worked? But the main thing was complete provision.
Only the first new Tu-214 airliner reached the final assembly, although initially it was planned to deliver three aircraft back in 2023.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Tu-160 White Swan bomber and the Soviet Tu-144 will become the basis for a new supersonic Russian airliner.
