Российские роверы «Пиранья» и «Карго Юнит» дебютировали на «Белагро-2025»

Autonomous rovers from "Dronshab Group" demonstrate automation capabilities in agriculture

At the International Specialized Exhibition "Belagro-2025", held from June 3 to 7 at the Minsk International Exhibition Center, the Russian company "Dronshab Group" presented its autonomous rovers "Piranha" and "Cargo Unit". These developments, created to solve problems in agriculture, are demonstrated at the stands of Belarusian partners — the company "Agricultural Technologies" and the Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ). The new products aroused interest among visitors due to their capabilities in automating agricultural processes.

Rover "Piranha"

The "Piranha" rover is a universal autonomous platform capable of carrying loads up to 300 kg. The device is equipped with domestic software and can operate in difficult climatic conditions — from -25°C to +40°C. Autonomous operation time reaches 12 hours, which allows the rover to be used for long-term tasks without frequent recharging. At the "Agricultural Technologies" stand, a scenario is demonstrated where the "Piranha" with additional equipment scans soil parameters in real time, providing farmers with data for precision farming.

"Cargo Unit" (pictured on the cover) is a more compact platform with a carrying capacity of up to 150 kg and an operating time of up to 8 hours. At the MTZ stand, the rover is presented as an assistant for transporting goods and performing logistics tasks at agricultural enterprises. Both devices are fully developed in Russia, including design, electronics and software, which emphasizes the technological independence of the developments.

Together with the company "Agricultural Technologies" at the exhibition, we are demonstrating a scenario for using the "Piranha" rover to scan soil parameters on agricultural land in real time. For this, additional equipment is installed on the rover. In general, we are seeing increased demand for autonomous ground equipment for this area.
Maxim Tomskikh, General Director of "Dronshab Group"

The "Belagro-2025" exhibition traditionally serves as a platform for demonstrating advanced technologies in the agricultural industry.

For 7 years in a row, we have been participating in the International Specialized Exhibition "Belagro", where we present the latest digital solutions for precision farming and automation of agricultural machinery. We also demonstrate our digital solutions at the partner stands of "Minsk Tractor Plant", "Gomselmash", "Lidagroprommash". Participation in the exhibition allows the company to exchange experience with other professionals in the field of agriculture, as well as find new partners and customers.
Maxim Bazulka, Director of "Agricultural Technologies"

This year, the emphasis is on digitalization and automation, which corresponds to the global trends of Agriculture 4.0. Russian rovers fit into this concept, offering solutions to increase efficiency and reduce labor costs. For example, real-time soil scanning allows farmers to optimize the use of fertilizers, and autonomous cargo transportation reduces dependence on human labor.
