Special forces and counter-sabotage forces and assets (PDSS) of the Baltic Fleet practiced actions in the event of a ship being seized by terrorists. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the exercise scenario, the rescue tug "Alexander Frolov" was captured by a group of armed men. The anti-sabotage boat "Vladimir Nosov" was sent to the ship's parking area, as well as high-speed boats with special forces of the Baltic Fleet.
Naval aviation helicopters with assault groups on board were involved to support the actions of the military personnel.
The soldiers landed on the captured ship, blocked the mock terrorists and neutralized them.
