The new version of the Lada Granta Active Cross liftback will appear at dealers by mid-summer. This was announced by Alexander Shaprynsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika network.
Granta Active Cross is aimed at an audience aged 30–40 years and will be offered in a price range comparable to the Lada Granta Cross station wagon. The model features a spacious trunk and the ability to transform the interior thanks to the second row of seats.
Alexander Shaprynsky predicts that the new model will occupy about 20% in the sales structure of the Lada Granta family, competing with Granta Cross and other modifications. The advantages of the new product include an increased trunk, plastic body kit and increased ground clearance.
Lada Granta Active Cross will receive a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 90 and 106 hp paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The basic equipment includes two airbags, air conditioning, heated front seats and an audio system.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ presented Lada Granta Active Cross — a liftback with SUV features.
