Moryakovsky backwater completed the modernization and reclassification of barges 2700 and 2703 of project Р171

The vessels are designed for the transportation of coal, mineral building materials and universal containers

In Moryakovsky backwater, which is a subsidiary of Samus Shipyard, work has been completed to update and reclassify two non-self-propelled dry cargo barges-platforms 2700 and 2703 of project Р171. Now they correspond to the class "М-СП".

The vessels had their plating replaced, external and internal painting carried out, air pipe systems modernized, and anchor gear retrofitted.

Main parameters of the barges: overall length — 89.10 m; calculated length — 85.80 m; width — 16.5 m; board height — 2.5 m.

The vessels transport coal, building materials and universal containers.

Earlier, the fifth barge of project RBD4608 was launched at the Chkalovsky shipyard in the Vologda region. The dry cargo ship is equipped with spacious holds and durable decks, which makes it versatile for transporting a variety of cargo.
