The Emperium shipyard has completed the construction of two electric vessels of the Ecobus project. These are the sixth and seventh vessels under the contract for seven vessels concluded by the shipyard with the State Transport Leasing Company. The new vessels will join the previous ones to operate in the waters of the Moskva River.

In March 2024, the leasing company announced the conclusion of new shipbuilding contracts with the Emperium shipyard, which is part of the Sitronics Group (AFK Sistema), for eight Ecobus passenger electric vessels. The delivery of all vessels is scheduled for completion by the end of summer 2025. The Ecobus electric vessels are designed for passenger transportation along the Moskva River.

The regular operation of electric vessels in Moscow on the first route "Kievsky - Heart of the Capital" was opened on June 20, 2023. On September 29 of the same year, electric vessels began to run on the second route "ZIL - Pechatniki". The company "Vodokhod. Passenger Port" (part of the Vodokhod group) was selected by the Moscow authorities as the operator of river passenger electric vessels for a period of 15 years.
