The Uralvagonzavod concern (part of Rostec) will present an export version of the modernized T-90MS tank, the TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" heavy flamethrower system, and the universal armored engineering vehicle (UBIM) at its stand at the upcoming XII International Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment MILEX-2025.
The equipment will be demonstrated as 1:10 scale models at the Uralvagonzavod stand as part of the Rosoboronexport exposition. The T-90MS tank is equipped with modular all-aspect protection for the hull and turret against the main modern anti-tank weapons, including loitering munitions and drones. The combat vehicle is equipped with electronic warfare systems against drones, dynamic protection, and slat screens.
UBIM is designed to perform engineering work and ensure the advance of troops under enemy fire, including in radioactively contaminated areas. The vehicle lays paths and passages in stone and forest blockages, fills ditches, and performs many other tasks. The uniqueness of the UBIM engineering vehicle is that it combines the functions of three units of equipment at once: an armored recovery vehicle, a demolition vehicle, and a mine clearance vehicle.
TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" is one of the most formidable types of modern Russian weapons, which destroys targets with thermobaric ammunition. The temperature at the epicenter of the explosion reaches two thousand degrees. Over the past few years, a significant modernization of the TOS-1A combat vehicle has been carried out, including the installation of drone protection and additional side screens.
The MILEX-2025 exhibition will be held in the Belarusian capital from May 21 to 24.
Earlier www1.ru reported that mass production of the mini version of the Geran drone has begun in Russia.
