Businesses Implement AI to Create Corporate Courses in Russia

Neural networks enable faster and more efficient creation of training courses

The field of educational technology is witnessing an active implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) for developing corporate training courses. Itorum MR has introduced the Edwise system, which transforms corporate documents into educational materials. This innovation reduces course creation time by 35–40%.

Russian companies in the edtech sector are actively using AI to generate educational content. The Edwise system processes technical instructions and regulations, creating video lessons and courses. Investments in development amounted to 150 million rubles, and the cost of the solution ranges from 49 to 149 thousand rubles.

Other companies also confirm the use of AI in training. SberUniversity Vice-Rector Alexander Shatalov noted that in 2024, more than 30% of new educational solutions were developed using AI. Skillbox has implemented an AI assistant that reduces the workload on teachers. Yandex Practicum also uses AI, but the main focus is on experts and methodologists.

Despite the slowdown in revenue growth in edtech, the implementation of AI may be the key to the industry's recovery. In 2024, the revenue of the top 100 companies amounted to 144.5 billion rubles, which is 19% more than in 2023. Experts say that AI helps reduce costs and speed up the course development process. Businesses are looking for ways to optimize expenses, and the use of AI is becoming an important step towards increasing flexibility and sustainability.
