The "Proton-PM" enterprise is preparing to launch a robotic system developed by "AtomIntelMash" (part of "Rosatom Service"). The equipment is designed to create ceramic molds used in the production of parts for RD-191 engines for the Angara family of rockets.
The new robotic complex automates the process of manufacturing casting molds, which will significantly improve the accuracy and stability of production. According to Roscosmos, the system provides stricter quality control, reducing the influence of the human factor. Automation of key production stages not only speeds up the process but also achieves stability of technological parameters. The implementation of the complex is part of the modernization of the enterprise's foundry competence center. This is an important step in the development of domestic rocket engineering, especially in the context of increasing the production of engines for promising space programs.
