The "Proton-PM" enterprise is preparing to launch a robotic complex developed by "AtomIntelMash" (part of "Rosatom Service"). The equipment is designed to create ceramic molds used in the production of RD-191 engine parts for the Angara family of rockets.
The new robotic complex automates the process of manufacturing casting molds, which will significantly increase the accuracy and stability of production. According to "Roscosmos", the system provides more stringent quality control, reducing the influence of the human factor. Automation of key production stages allows not only to speed up the process, but also to achieve stability of technological parameters. The complex is being introduced as part of the modernization of the enterprise's foundry competence center. This is an important step in the development of domestic rocket engineering, especially in the context of increasing the production of engines for promising space programs.
