By the end of 2025, modern tugs and rescue vessels of projects T3150, MPSV12, MPSV07 and NE025 will arrive in the Arctic region

Morspassluzhba expects to receive a number of new vessels for operation on the Northern Sea Route by the end of 2025. This was announced by the head of the service, Viktor Chernov, during the ceremony of raising the state flag on the new NE025 project tug and rescue vessels "Timan" and "Tepsey".

Of the five vessels in this series, two have already arrived in Murmansk, two in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and the fifth vessel, "Favor," is expected in Arkhangelsk by the end of the year.

The completion of the MPSV12 project rescue vessel "Aldan" at the Oka shipyard is also continuing, which should soon strengthen work on the Northern Sea Route. In addition, the MPSV07 project vessel "Kerch Strait" is being prepared for delivery - it is being prepared by the Amur Shipbuilding Plant.

Additionally, five multi-purpose tugs of the T3150 project are being built at the Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant. All these vessels should significantly enhance the capabilities of Morspassluzhba in ensuring the safety and support of navigation in the Arctic region.
