Shipbuilders of the St. Petersburg shipyard "Galactica" have completed the construction of the third floating oil storage "Neobeton-3" (project 04080). This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
"Neobeton-3" is a non-self-propelled composite steel-concrete vessel for storing petroleum products. The upper part of the hull is made of steel, the lower part is made of reinforced concrete.
The oil storage facility is equipped with 8 cargo tanks with a total volume of about 14.4 thousand cubic meters. It can store no more than 4 types of liquid cargo.
Characteristics: length - 55 m, width - 23 m, board height - 13.6 m, draft - 4.2 m. "Neobeton-3" is the last in the series of vessels of project 04080. It was developed by specialists of KB "BaltSpetsProekt".
