Modernized Il-114-300 aircraft with 117ST-01 engines to be certified by 2025

UEC will ship a total of seven power plants

The Il-114-300 aircraft with domestic TV7-117ST-01 engines will be certified in 2025, with the first 6-7 power plants expected to be delivered by the end of the year. This was announced by Alexander Grachev, General Director of the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec).

This year, we are completing the certification of the Il-114 with TV7-117ST-01 engines, we have already conducted more than 100 flights, and active work is underway. This year, we will receive the corresponding certificate for the aircraft with the engine, and this year we will ship 6-7 engines.

Grachev added that the certification of the domestic PD-8 engine for the import-substituted SSJ New is proceeding according to schedule.

The type certificate for the PD-8 engine is scheduled to be received in the fall of this year. In addition, UEC is in the active phase of serial deliveries of the PD-14 engine for the Russian MS-21 aircraft.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the new Russian aircraft with a flying wing design will be 20% more economical than traditional airliners.
