OpenYard has started mass production of dual-socket server motherboards in the Ryazan region. The products are compatible with Intel Sapphire Rapids and Emerald Rapids processors, and the production capacity allows for 60,000 units per year.
The new motherboards are built on the Intel C741 chipset and equipped with two LGA 4677 sockets. They support processors with power consumption up to 350W, have 32 slots for DDR5 memory, and PCIe Gen5 connectors. The boards are compatible with 4th and 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, including Xeon Silver, Xeon Gold, and Xeon W models with 8 to 36 cores.
A key feature of the production is the use of domestic textolite for manufacturing the boards themselves, heat-spreading plates, and risers. Servers based on these boards are undergoing certification for inclusion in the register of Russian products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
OpenYard has retained key developments, including the Open Compute Project (OCP) architecture, despite the departure of partners Yandex and Lanit. This allows them to continue producing competitive products in the Russian market.
Servers based on these boards are already undergoing the necessary testing and certification. After obtaining all permits, the products will be included in the register of Russian products, which will allow them to be used in the implementation of government projects and in large corporate structures. The products can be used in data centers, cloud services, and corporate systems.
