The Russian manufacturer of agricultural machinery "Kolnag" has released the cultivator-ridger "Ixion" with an additional set of options. The information appeared on the company's website.
The cultivator is equipped with a kit for arranging drip irrigation with a convenient mount for four coils. Special guides ensure accurate laying of perforated tapes in the center of the ridge.
The drip irrigation system allows for local irrigation without moisture loss from evaporation and provides targeted plant nutrition. The cultivator is equipped with an RSRR roller bed former. It is designed for additional rolling of ridges for sowing small-seeded crops.
The machine forms four ridges of dense structure for uniform planting of plants. The milling depth of the cultivator is up to 15 cm.
When cultivating potato plantings, the machine can loosen the soil in rows 75 cm wide. This promotes access of air, heat and moisture before emergence.
