The construction of a new garage complex for the flight test unit and the reconstruction of the production building are being completed at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Notes of Aircraft Builders".
The garage complex is a two-story building with an area of almost 4000 m². The building will house administrative and amenity facilities, repair and parking bays. The estimated completion date is early May.
In the parking bay, 12 large gates are provided for convenient entry and exit of vehicles. The room will also house vehicles used for treating aircraft with anti-icing fluids, maintaining the airfield area, starting aircraft engines, and other special equipment.
The repair bay, intended for the repair and maintenance of special equipment of workshop 216, is equipped with inspection pits, an overhead crane and an aggregate section.
