The company «Vostochny Forpost» plans to establish the production of third-generation Renault Master cars in Vladivostok.
The final stage of certification is currently underway. The SBCTS (certifies the conformity of the chassis design to the established safety requirements) and the vehicle type approval (certifies the conformity of the chassis design to the established safety and environmental standards) will be received in the coming days. Components will be purchased in China.
The cars will be launched on the market under the brand name Forpost Recruit/Форпост Рекрут 23696-0000010. The release of two versions is planned — up to 3.5 tons and more (N1 and N2).
Like Renault, the front-wheel drive car is being prepared in van and truck modifications (semi-frame chassis for superstructures). The first vehicle type approvals will allow the production of 100 cars in each category. This is a simplified version of certification: apparently, Forpost wants to «feel» the market in this way.
The expected annual output is 20 units per month. They plan to reach these volumes by 2027.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ announced the conditions for Renault's return to Russia.
