The creation of a Russian-Belarusian prototype aircraft "Osvey" is proceeding according to the agreed plan. This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
We should receive the technical design in April, after that continue joint financing of the work that provides for both the working design stage and, in fact, the subsequent construction of a prototype and access to static and flight tests.
Manturov added that the construction time frame for the prototype remained the same. He proceeds from what is written in the joint contractual obligations between the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) and Belarus.
A prototype of the "Osvey" aircraft in cooperation with Russia is planned to be developed in Belarus in 2026, said Dmitry Pantus, Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus.

Light, economical, multi-purpose 19-seat turboprop aircraft with a high wing. A VK-800 turboprop engine will be installed on the aircraft as a power unit, and the aircraft will receive airborne equipment from JSC "Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies".
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian airlines withdrew 58 aircraft from operation due to the impossibility of repair.
