Russian airlines in 2024 had to decommission 58 aircraft. This was announced by the head of Rosaviatsiya Dmitry Yadrov.
Due to lack of resources, impossibility of repair and aviation accidents, airlines decommissioned 58 aircraft.
According to him, the fleet of companies performing commercial transportation currently includes 920 helicopters and 1138 aircraft. In 2024, they were supplemented by 49 helicopters and 4 domestically produced aircraft.
