Russian airlines in 2024 had to decommission 58 aircraft. This was announced by the head of Rosaviatsiya Dmitry Yadrov.
Due to the lack of resources, the impossibility of performing repairs, and aviation accidents, airlines have decommissioned 58 aircraft.
According to him, the fleet of aircraft of companies performing commercial transportation currently includes 920 helicopters and 1138 airplanes. In 2024, they were supplemented by 49 helicopters and 4 domestically produced aircraft.
