Robots Serving the Nuclear Industry: TsKBM Launches Pilot Project on "Unmanned" Technologies

Robotics services will be provided by Rosatom Service

The Central Design Bureau of Machine Building (TsKBM) and Rosatom Service have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of equipment design, integration of robotic systems, and automation of technological processes. This collaboration paves the way for the development of innovative technologies in the nuclear industry.

The Rosatom plant in St. Petersburg will become a pilot site for the introduction of robotics and "unmanned" technologies. As part of this project, robotic systems provided by Rosatom Service will be used. In the future, TsKBM plans to use these technologies at its production site, as well as develop and implement already realized technical solutions.

According to Konstantin Rauk, Deputy Chief Designer of TsKBM, projects will be tested at the St. Petersburg site, which can then be implemented at other enterprises in both the nuclear industry and other sectors of the economy.
