Promising Bulletproof Helmets from Kalashnikov Sent to Troops

Triada-TKO Company (part of the Kalashnikov arms concern) has begun shipping promising bulletproof helmets made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene for military trials, the concern's press service reported.

The bulletproof helmet has a fragmentation resistance of V50% of at least 630 m/s and provides protection class Br2 with a weight and area comparable to the currently used general-purpose bulletproof helmet of protection class Br1.

Features of the bulletproof helmet:

  • Partially protects the ears
  • Allows the use of a headset
  • The shroud is compatible with most brackets for observation devices
  • Equipped with covers in the color "Цифра" — EMR-M (green) and EMR-MP (desert)
