The T-90MS tank, modernized based on real combat experience, which was shown at the IDEX 2025 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, received additional stern protection made of chains.
Thanks to this cheap material, the vulnerable part of the combat vehicle remains more protected from the cumulative warhead of anti-tank missiles and kamikaze drones.
The tank also received additional dynamic protection blocks, which covered individual sections of the hull and turret. The vehicle was also equipped with a "mangal" - a lattice screen protecting the upper hemisphere of the T-90MS turret.
Additional protection from drones is provided by an electronic warfare system.
