The crew of the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle conducted firing from a closed firing position at a range of up to four kilometers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The military fired from a 100-millimeter gun, a 7.62-millimeter machine gun and a 30-millimeter paired automatic cannon at targets simulating a mock enemy. Also, during the event, the soldiers also performed maneuvering tasks.
Regardless of the road surface, the combat vehicle is capable of reaching speeds of more than 65 km/h.
The BMP-3 is designed for both combined arms combat and for performing special tasks. The vehicle has a powerful weapons system and is equipped with an automated fire control system.
