ФНС России запустила онлайн-сервис для отчетности майнеров

The new tool allows declaring income from mining in a couple of clicks

The Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia has launched a new online service that allows miners to report on mined cryptocurrency through their personal taxpayer account. Now users can submit data on mined digital currency in a special section of the service.

When logging into your personal account using a qualified electronic signature. Individuals must fill out the form in the "Mining" section, legal entities - in the "Digital Currency Mining" section. Individual entrepreneurs can use the "Life Situations" section and select the appropriate category.

According to the requirements of the legislation, reports must be submitted no later than the 20th of the month following the month of receipt of the digital currency. This obligation is established by Federal Law No. 259-FZ of July 31, 2020.

On November 1, 2024, the Register of Miners began operating in Russia, in which all legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in mining are required to register. Registration is carried out through the "MiningRegister" service on the FTS website. Registration is not required for individuals if their electricity consumption does not exceed 6 thousand kWh per month.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation proposed to introduce criminal liability for the transfer of cryptocurrency to front persons.
