The Kalashnikov Concern has certified the new MR-439 small-caliber sports pistol. The first four units were demonstrated to coaches, judges and athletes as part of the Russian Cup in airgun shooting.
The MR-439 was developed on the basis of the MCM small-caliber sports pistol. It is designed for initial shooting training at short distances — up to 25 m. 5.6 mm caliber bullets are used for shooting. Magazine capacity — 5 rounds. The dispersion diameter of bullets at a distance of 25 m does not exceed a radius of 40 mm.
In contrast to its predecessor, the MR-439 model provides the ability to adjust the balance of the pistol, as well as the trigger on the preliminary stroke and on the failure.
The MR-439 sight is adjustable along the vertical and horizontal lines, the sight adjustment allows for aimed shooting both in the center of the circle and under the black circle, the front sight can be adjusted in width with interchangeable plates. The new handle is optimally shaped and sized for use by novice athletes aged 10 years and older.
To increase the reliability and service life of the pistol, the design of the magazine and ejector has been changed, as well as the design of the firing pin to prevent the firing pin from packing the breech of the barrel. In the area of the check in the front part, the bolt is hardened, which will also increase the service life of the pistol.
