In 2024, Russian Railways (RZD) expanded the free Wi-Fi zone, adding 176 more stations. This was announced on the holding's official Telegram channel.

Free Wi-Fi is now available at more than 400 railway stations.

Including now free Wi-Fi is available at the Kotlas Yuzhny, Nizhnevartovsk, Liski stations and MCD Novokhokhlovskaya, Mitkovo stations and others.

In 2024, more than 8.6 million people used free Wi-Fi, which is 22% more than in 2023. Most often, passengers at Adler station connected to the wireless network - more than 336 thousand sessions were registered there.

Earlier, Russian Railways announced the start of work on creating a waiting list for online ticket purchases. The company also plans to launch a service that will allow you to quickly purchase a ticket by selecting the desired parameters according to the client's wishes.
