India will present the upgraded MiG-29K carrier-based fighter with domestically produced onboard systems at the Aero India-2025 international air show, Defence.in reports.
The modernized MiG-29K has received a glass cockpit with the latest navigation equipment and sighting systems, designed to improve the aircraft's capabilities in the use of air-to-surface weapons.
The aircraft has also been adapted for the use of missiles and guided bombs of national and international production. But the main highlight of the upgrade was the new onboard computer developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

The MiG-29K is a multi-functional carrier-based fighter designed for patrolling, intercepting and engaging aerial targets day and night, in simple and complex weather conditions, destroying surface or ground objects, providing air support for troops and landing parties, isolating the combat area and conducting aerial reconnaissance.
