The Kalashnikov concern has opened a prototyping center that will develop and launch products for civil and military engineering.
One of the key areas of the center's work will be the creation of motorcycle prototypes. An important step for this was the start of work on reviving the "IZH" motorcycle brand.
In 2024, the concern released a limited batch of "IZH" motorcycles, including historical replicas of models produced at the Izhevsk plant (now JSC "Kalashnikov Concern") from 1951 to 1990. In addition, last year Kalashnikov's combat electric motorcycles successfully passed practical tests.
High demand for motorcycle replicas and positive feedback from the military confirm the need for the concern to further develop motorcycle construction.
The center is engaged in the introduction of new technologies in the manufacture of prototypes of motorcycle products, and also develops new lines of ATVs and jet skis.
