The first footage of the UAZ Patriot with a new two-liter diesel engine has appeared online. The photos were taken before the start of factory tests of the car, and the press service of UAZ confirmed this information.
The team of testers has started an extensive testing program in the new UAZ Patriot modification line.
The start of sales of the new model is scheduled for Q4 2025. The SUV will receive the same diesel engine as the UAZ Profi light truck. This is a two-liter 130 hp unit, which is produced at the Sollers Alabuga plant.
Currently, the Patriot can be bought with a 2.7-liter ZMZ-Pro engine with a capacity of 150 hp, which works in combination with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
