A motorized rifle unit of the combined arms army of the Central Military District (CMD) in the Orenburg Region received more than 40 units of missile and artillery weapons.
The unit received Kornet ATGM portable anti-tank missile systems and 152-mm modernized Msta-SM2 self-propelled howitzers.
The Kornet anti-tank missile system is designed to engage tanks and other armored targets, including those equipped with modern dynamic protection systems. The firing range depends on the type of ATGM and reaches 10 km.
The Msta-SM2 self-propelled howitzer is designed to destroy mortar and artillery batteries, air defense and anti-missile defense systems, armored vehicles, anti-tank weapons, and enemy personnel.
