"Sevmash" has begun preparing for the construction of fifth-generation nuclear submarines. The company is updating workshops, introducing new equipment and technology, said General Director Mikhail Budnichenko.
He noted that the development of "Sevmash" is not standing still, the company is keeping up with the times. All work is being carried out within the framework of the modernization and re-equipment program of the United Shipbuilding Corporation.
"Sevmash", as the largest enterprise in the USC contour, is a priority. The updating of workshops, the supply of new equipment and technology, the creation of specialized production facilities for the construction and testing of fourth-generation nuclear submarines, and preparation for the creation of future generations of nuclear submarines are being carried out under the state program "Development of the Military-Industrial Complex".
