Russian Armed Forces servicemen are receiving 7 times more tanks, 3 times more IFVs and APCs, and 2.3 times more drones compared to 2022. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov during a speech at an expanded board meeting of the ministry.
Experts from the Telegram channel "Russian Weapon" noted that more and more armored vehicles are receiving "stock" anti-cumulative "visors." They provide the vehicles with additional protection against FPV drones.
Motorized rifle units often feature BMP-2Ms equipped with Berezhok combat modules.
Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov also stated that "a tiered network of warehouses should replace large bases."
This concept of a dispersed network of small, camouflaged, and fortified warehouses should minimize the depletion of arsenals during massive raids by enemy kamikaze UAVs.
The authors of the Telegram channel suggested that warehouses could be covered by full batteries of Tor-M2 military air defense systems and Pantsir-S1 air defense missile systems, placed on towers.
