Russian Helicopters Holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) plans to launch the Ansat helicopter in a medical version on the Chinese market. It is presented at the Airshow China, the corporation's press service reported.
Ansat is a light helicopter, but it has the most spacious cabin in its class. In the ambulance version, the vehicle is designed to transport one patient accompanied by two medics.
As emphasized in the press service, the Ansat has a medical module with a ventilator, tele-ECG and other equipment on board. Doctors can provide intensive care to the patient directly in flight.
Features of the medical Ansat:
- all systems are import-substituted
- new electronic equipment
- two Russian VK-650V engines
- can land on unprepared sites
- certified for operation in mountainous areas
