TMH Engineering has developed a new bogie for passenger cars, model 68-4120. It features an increased axle load and is equipped with cylindrical springs in the spring suspension. This was reported by the company's press service.
The new model is designed for use in modern double-decker cars.
It is designed for a load of 19.5 tons per axle, instead of the previous 18 tons. The bogie uses a new type of torsion stabilizer, which provides the double-decker car with high stability, smooth passage through curved sections of the track, reduces lateral rolling, and therefore safety and comfort for passengers.
The bogie is made of 100% domestic components. It is designed for speeds up to 160 km/h and will become the basis for the development of a whole model range of such products.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Kambarka Engineering Works налаживает production of narrow-gauge PG1 platforms.
