"RS Group", which sold imported computers as Russian, declared bankrupt.

PC supplier LifeTech liquidated after public procurement scandal

«RS Group», which supplied state structures with system units and monoblocks under the LifeTech brand, has been officially declared bankrupt. The corresponding entry appeared in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities at the end of November 2025.

The company gained wide popularity in 2023, when its products took a leading position in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, scoring a record 180 points of "domesticity" — 40 points more than its closest competitors. However, it soon became clear that the high rates were achieved through a scheme in which imported equipment was passed off as Russian.

Inspections showed that under the guise of certified products, «RS Group» supplied government customers with equipment that did not correspond to the declared localization. CNews published photographs of the devices, confirming the absence of the declared domestic components. In less than a year, the company managed to sell such equipment for more than 100 million rubles.

It was also established that computers were supplied to state structures as Russian from the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, but without the corresponding conclusion of the department. At the moment, the only identified property of the bankrupt remains the LifeTech trademark, estimated at 105 thousand rubles.
