The developer of World of Warships, World of Tanks and Tanks Blitz has changed its beneficiary and can now be considered a fully Russian company again. A month ago, it was owned by Hong Kong Limited, and now 99% of the company belongs to its founder, Malik Khatazhayev.
The decision to change the owner, according to an insider, is due to the desire to distance itself from Wargaming. Lesta Games, in turn, stated that the game manufacturer intends to implement long-term plans in Russia.
It is worth recalling that Lesta Games used to be called Lesta Games. It was a subsidiary of the Belarusian company Wargaming, which left the Russian market in 2022. After that, Lesta came under the control of its founder, Malik Khatazhayev. In September 2022, the businessman transferred the management of the company to Lesta Hong Kong Limited. Now, the entrepreneur has regained his stake in the company.
