The rescue vessel "Murman" has arrived to help

The research vessel "Akademik Nikolay Strakhov" is returning to Murmansk. The multifunctional rescue vessel "Murman" has arrived in the area of the vessel's anchorage and has taken it in tow.

After discussing the details of the upcoming operation with the captain of the "Murman", it was decided to wait for more favorable weather conditions and evacuate the scientific staff.

Thanks to the coordinated actions of the crew of both vessels, in harsh marine conditions, the cable was successfully secured, and already at 20:00 the convoy began moving towards the port of Murmansk. At the moment, the speed of the vessel is 4-5 knots.
