Sinara – Transport Machines (STM), in collaboration with the Kalugaputmash plant, has improved the manufacturing process of PSS-2P snow removal trains. The assembly of the head and intermediate cars is now carried out in one workshop.
The stages of the production process were accelerated by the supply of components. Now they come from the machining production to the assembly, bypassing the warehouse. A special area was also created in the workshop to accommodate the workpiece for the next train.
Saving resources on logistics and supply has accelerated production threefold.
At the end of the first stage of the current machine, the released personnel begin work on the next one.
By the end of this year, it is planned to produce 3 PSS-2P snow removal trains. The machines were certified in 2022.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the first high-speed train will be equipped with autopilot.
