Russians are reluctant to answer calls if they are called from an unknown number. This is the conclusion reached by analysts at Superjob based on the results of a study. It turned out that only 3 out of 10 Russians always pick up the phone.
Every second person (55%) sometimes answers calls. Some pick up the phone out of inertia, others — when they are expecting a call. Every sixth Russian ignores such calls, believing that they are scammers.
At the same time, 36% of men pick up the phone if they are called from an unknown number, and 23% of women do the same. According to researchers, the older the citizen, the less often they answer calls.
The willingness of Russians to answer calls from numbers that are not recorded in the phone book depends on their financial situation. For example, 36% of citizens whose income exceeds 100 thousand rubles always pick up the phone.
The survey was conducted in all regions of Russia, with the participation of 1.6 thousand economically active citizens aged 18 years and older.
