According to the press service of the National Center for Industrial Design and Innovation 2050.LAB, the project was developed by their junior designer, Nikolai Gorbovsky, a graduate student at MISIS.
The concept is an all-terrain vehicle based on LADA Niva. It was first presented live at the recent Design Day 2050 conference.
Gorbovsky's SUV has not yet been officially shown to representatives of AvtoVAZ, so their opinion is not yet known. But many commentators on the Web did not really like the new interpretation of the familiar LADA motifs: car enthusiasts consider the design "blasphemous" and say that the concept is more like something made "based on the «Zaporozhets».
However, there are those who note that it does not matter how the new potential car looks: "the main thing is the filling and functionality, and they will get used to the design."
