Russian electronic warfare units have tested an innovative technology on the front lines to combat enemy FPV drones. The system has proven itself well, managing to "down" five copters at once during testing.
The Telegram channel «Оборонка» clarified that the equipment intercepts the drone's control video channel and replaces the image from the drone's camera using a signal amplifier.
The soldiers mainly use footage of former US President Barack Obama dancing, the «Immortal Regiment» procession, or speeches by Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The result is the same – the drone operator loses control of the equipment and the drone falls.

Earlier, Forbes highly praised the Russian wired drone «Vandal Novgorodsky». The UAV operates via a fiber optic line, so any electronic warfare equipment is powerless against it.
