A wheeled version of the PRP-5 mobile reconnaissance post was presented at the Army-2024 military-technical forum. The vehicle was developed on the BTR-82 platform.
The uniqueness of this domestic development lies in the module mounted on the roof of the armored vehicle with a mast extended to a great height, equipped with a radar station and an optoelectronic device.
The radar is capable of detecting various targets, including enemy personnel and military equipment, at a distance of up to 15 000 m.
A 12.7-mm machine gun is used as a weapon. Deployment time is 5 minutes. The maximum speed on the highway is 80 km/h. The armored scout is capable of overcoming water obstacles by swimming. The fuel range is 500 km. The crew operating this equipment consists of four people.
Earlier, the first shots of the multi-purpose tactical missile "Nadyusha" surfaced on the Web. Its range is up to 300 km.
