The company «Fractjet-Volga» has developed a method to increase oil and gas production. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Saratov Region.
The new technology has been successfully tested at two oil and gas fields.
The technology has been successfully tested in Astrakhan - one of the most complex fields in the world, where the depth of the productive formation is about 4,000 m, as well as the Orenburg gas condensate fields.
The new method allowed to increase gas production at the Orenburg field in eight wells from 1.7 to 3.97 times.
Acid jet drilling technology increases the flow of hydrocarbons in an open uncased wellbore. Additional wellbores are created by coiled tubing - the installation of flexible tubing.
The acid composition is fed into the pipe under high pressure. The rock is destroyed by chemical reaction and kinetic energy. New wellbores make it possible to start developing previously unused areas of raw material deposits.
