A new Center for Testing Emergency Rescue Equipment for Aircraft and Helicopters will appear thanks to an agreement signed at INNOPROM between the management of Promtech and the head of the region, Alexey Russkikh. The governor wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
"Promtech-Ulyanovsk" will expand its area for the new project. Test benches will be installed to simulate door sill heights for various landing gear strut failure scenarios for MC-21, Tu-214, and SSJ-New aircraft, as well as to test emergency escape slides. Investment volume: 320 million rubles. The second stage of the investment project: the production of aircraft interiors — aviation seats of various types for the MC-21, Tu-214, SSJ-New aircraft family. It is planned to invest 500 million rubles.
Thanks to the agreement, an additional 250 people will be employed. In general, 600 residents of the region are already employed at the Promtech-Ulyanovsk facilities. The company is engaged in the design and production of various systems for aviation, space, and ground equipment.
