The Yekaterinburg plant "Uraltransmash" (part of the Rostec Group) presented a modernized tram model 71-418M at the INNOPROM exhibition.
Tram 71-418M is an improved version of the three-section low-floor tram 71-418. The model is equipped with a swivel bogie with double spring suspension of its own design. This makes it possible to improve the smoothness of the car by 20%.
The tram is equipped with navigation and video surveillance systems with video recording function. The driver's cab and passenger compartment are equipped with air conditioners and a heating system.
Parameters of model 71-418M:
- Body length — 27.97 meters.
- Body width — 2.5 meters.
- Number of seats — 46+conductor's seat.
- Total capacity — 286 people.
It is worth noting that the basic model of the 71-418 tram was developed back in 2019. The tram was created in a single copy. It was tested in 2020 in Yekaterinburg and sent for revision.
