According to the agreement, which was signed at the Moscow forum "Hope for Technology," this money will be invested in Motorica's parent company, MC Homo Auctus.
The investment will go towards creating an integrator of rehabilitation devices and product services.
In June, Motorica already signed an agreement with the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnologies of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia to create the Center for Cybernetic Medicine and Neuroprosthetics (CCMNP) to develop its products. The goal of the Center is to restore the ability to feel with a prosthesis for people after amputation. Its experts will also work on adjusting the feedback between the nervous system and the computer.
We are creating a platform for new developments in the field of assistive technologies and promoting the concept of a cybernetic human, a person who skillfully manages their health with the help of technology. Today, these are cyber prostheses, neuroimplants, and other assistive technologies that are improving every year. Combining prosthetics, neurotechnology, the Internet of Things, VR, and medical cybernetics devices and services will take people's quality of life to a new level. The industry has inexhaustible potential, and we will do everything to increase our influence in this area. Motorica's main asset, of course, is its people. We find like-minded people and work together on grandiose projects!
In May, it became known that Motoricais localizing its production in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. The manufacturers received the status of a resident of the technopolis at the end of 2023, and the restart in a new location in Pechatniki is expected by the third quarter of 2024. By the end of the year, Motorica plans to quadruple the production of its products. New developments in the form of leg prostheses and neurostimulators will be produced here.
In 2026, in addition to the production of exoskeletons, the company plans to IPO shares on the Moscow Exchange. And by 2028, Motorica already intends to launch the production of electric wheelchairs, hearing implants, and implantable microelectronics. All devices and IT services will be assembled into a single platform called ATTILAN in the concept of the "Internet of Bodies."
